BINGO Prewriting Lines / Shapes

Are you working on PRE-WRITING LINES, fine motor skills, motor accuracy and tracing? Then you need this game for your students! This game is a very simple BINGO game that utilizes 9 tiles (3 x 3 box). This utilizes the 9 pre-writing lines and shapes on each of the 10 unique cards. There are TWO differentiated versions for students who need extra visuals.

One version includes visuals on “how to win”. (Game cards pages 8 – 18). The second version is just the cards without the visual of “how to win”. (Game cards pages 21 – 31). Remember, these are the SAME cards but WITHOUT the visuals.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE PREVIEW AND READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY TO MAKE SURE THIS MEETS YOUR NEEDS.

Print out the caller cards (optional: laminate) and cut (pages 5 – 7).

Print out the bingo cards (optional: laminate) and cut.

You can then hold up one caller card and students will trace that card. Once students get three in a row, they win the game!

To make this game easier, instead of just holding up the bingo card, you can draw the card on a white board or piece of paper.

This type of activity can support hand strength, visual scanning, visual perceptual skills, visual motor skills, age appropriate grasp crossing midline, and fine motor skills.

This is perfect for RTI / MTSS / 504 / IEP as an intervention for hand strength and pre-handwriting skills. This could also be used in a center. This is also a perfect activity for occupational therapists OT, teachers, speech pathologists SLP, special education teachers SPED and other school professions while working on skills!

I am a school occupational therapist who has a doctorate in occupational therapy. I work closely with special education and general education staff adapting material.
