•Movement Hopscotch (pages 5 – 40. This includes two sections, one which has a number amount written and one which you write in the amount you want). Set up the exercises in a hopscotch manner or taped on the wall. Students perform each movement as stated.
•Hand maze (pages 41-46 ). Tape up with hand prints. Students touch the wall with the correct hand.
•Make the room bigger (pages 47-52) focuses on an exercise for self regulation.
•Read + balance (pages 53-60) focuses on differentiated reading (or stating colors or shapes) while balancing.
•Jump away (point away) (pages 61-75) focuses on directionality with different levels.
•Deep breathing (pages 76-79) focuses on deep breathing for students.
All of the movements / exercises require no additional equipment. These stations can also help to support self regulation by teaching students exercises that can be performed when feeling heightened. In addition, this is perfect for working on core strength and balance.
