Do you educate others on fine motor, visual motor and self help milestones? Do you want an easy visual to use to help educate others? This is for you!

 

This is AN UNIQUE handout intended for parents, caregivers, teachers, paraprofessionals, and others to understand the motor milestones. This is on two pages. One has years 1 -2 and the second page has 3 -4. This handout has 34 milestones in the actual number / age that this milestone occurs with a clipart picture. It then has a list on the side which each milestone listed. This is research and evidence based.

This can be given as a handout during evaluations, screenings or for early intervention. This is a nice tool for OT students as well. This can be used for other professionals as well (speech language pathology, SLP , developmental therapist DT , physical therapist PT, social work SW , school counselor). This is a tool to help understand developmental milestones for visual motor, fine motor and self help milestones. This includes a variety of milestones such as scissor skills, pre-writing strokes, block designs, block towers, taking off socks, zippers, taking off pants, copying a circle, copying a cross, imitation, buttoning and beading.

 

You can print this double sided or for a permanent copy, print double sided and laminate. Please do not post this to websites. This is only intended for 1 person who downloaded this item and students/children on their caseload.

 

Note: This is not an inclusive list of skills. Not all children develop at the same rate. Please talk to your pediatrician or occupational therapist if you have concerns.
